The Festival of the African cultures is programmed to offer you the real taste of Africa in old and modern Music, Art, Dance, instruments, comedy, story telling, foods and attire. The festival is being organised by experts in African instrumentation, music and dance. The aim is to offer people with special and exotic rhythm of Africa and to replicate the wain and forgotten African cultures that are now ignored by the people, politics and politician of the day. Africa has got a wonderful arts and cultures so interested that we can’t let go and u cannot miss this real opportunity to see the awakening spirit of Africa by the people who knows it best.

A taste of Africa – a chance you don’t want to miss, see mixed traditional & modern African dance and music. There will be open free visit in the theatre between 3 – 5pm to have the opportunity to play, see & feel African Drums and traditional instruments and costumes in display, how they are made, history and their meanings. Show start at 7pm on the main Auditorium of Civic Theatre Tallaght.

Ojemba Afro Band (Host band)

Ojemba Afro Band is the only African band in Ireland that dive into the rythym of many African past and present musicians espcially musician from Nigeria. Their skilful talents gives them the edge of replicating special hits albulms from africa(n artists), these help to capture the hearts of Africans in diapora at the same time sending their spirits home. Their stile uplift their foreign listiners with musical entertainment that touches the soul. Their special talents of playing west African root of hife music into sothern African reagea and to Afro juju stile on stage sees these group as the most talented African band in ireland.
