After an international performing career, he shifted focus to his own artistic voice, founding Nabinam Dance Company. His creations explore existential, environmental, and socially engaged themes through interdisciplinary approaches that include sound, live music, symbolic scenography, and ritual-inspired structures.
Alongside choreographing, Jean–Baptiste is deeply engaged in education and community-building. He founded Step Forward, a professional dance training platform in Kristiansand with international reach, and teaches across Europe with a pedagogy rooted in movement research, creative process, and hip-hop/contemporary foundations. He also contributes to the field through curatorial and board roles, international collaborations, and mentoring young artists. He is currently part of Skuda Funk’s Talent program until 2027.
