The Civic’s Summer Camp has grown from strength to strength over the past 8 years. Hundreds of children from across South Dublin County (We have had children from Malaysia and even as far away as Cork 🙂 ) participate, each of who have brought their own unique talent to The Civic stage.
Every year the Camp sells out months in advance due to its huge popularity…. Only 90 places available!
This year we had Covid-19 to contend with and try to ensure that each registered child had the chance to participate, if they wished, under Government guidance at that time.
We worked stringently to guidelines and under the direction of Rob Murphy our associate artist, we moved venue to Clogher Road Sports Complex. Their huge facilities, sports and astro pitches along with 2 big rehearsal spaces meant distancing would be achieved and that all children booked could be accommodated.
Camp Blonde could go On!!!
