As panto fever heats up, we took some time to get the know the cast a bit better.
First up it’s Morgan Crowley who plays Dame Dottie……
Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and where you are from?
Dublin, born and bred. I Trained in London, New York and Switzerland. I have had a very diverse career across five continents in every genre of entertainment – appearing on a Grammy-winning CD, Tony Award winning musical and the stage version of an Oscar-winning film. I have enjoyed working on West End productions for about 10 years and 2 years on Broadway. I have also worked extensively in television, film and opera with credits worldwide including Disney, The Wiggles, Royal Opera Covent Garden, UTV, BBC (Eastenders, Lovejoy), Universal Pictures and the recent release “Pilgrimage”. Concerts include the BBC Proms, Carnegie Hall, Radio City Gala, Royal Festival Hall, Hyde Park (broadcast live to 10 million people worldwide), Andrew Lloyd Webber tribute in his presence, Royal Variety Performance and Vatican City.
Where did your interest in being an entertainer come from?
I have no idea…. no history in my family….. guess I’m just a bit odd!!!
What’s been your career highlight to date?
Having opportunities to perform for royalty and heads of State in cool places like Royal Opera House London and Carnegie Hall New York…. I guess!
What can audiences expect from Jack and the Beanstalk?
Lots of laughs and loads of fun with buckets of energy and shovels of talent.
What character do you play?
The Dame!

A Concert tour of Switzerland and launch of a new US film documentary
