A Recurrence is a gripping NEW three-hander following three working-class Dublin women: 1930s tenement, 1990s flat, and modern council house. Each facing an unplanned pregnancy and impossible choices. As their lives collide, cycles of pressure, secrecy, and survival repeat. These homes, built differently, hold the same truth: we’ve never erased poverty, it’s just changed shape. Raw, intimate, and urgent, this play asks: How much has really changed for working-class women in Ireland?
