Aoife Carney is our Choregrapher
Aoife started dancing at a young age in ballet & tap dancing and joined the Adele King Theatre School (Twink) and trained for 7 years under professional teachers in dancing, singing and acting. During her school transition year Aoife attended Inchicore College of Further Education and completed the sance studies course. At the end of the year she achieved her jazz dance exams and FETAC Award in Dance. Credits include’ Olympia Theatre Panto’ as a child dancer, TV show ‘The Tudors’ ‘Sleeping Beauty’ in the Tivoli Theatre & also worked as a dancer on the TV hit show ‘The Vikings’. Aoife studied DDMIX (Diverse Dance Mix) with Darcey Bussell & has gone on to teach classes in DDMIX.
Aoife is the owner & director of “Got2Dance Stage School” in Kingswood, and Citywest.
Aoife has been choreographing the Civic Theatre’s summer camps since 2015. Aoife works with different local primary & secondary schools teaching dance as part of their curriculum and choreographing transition year musicals. This will be Aoife’s 3rd Year choreographing The Civic Panto. Aoife is very passionate about her profession and loves working with children.
