Dublin Youth Dance Company and Artistic Director Mariam Ribón are happy to announce the Irish Youth Dance Festival 2022.
This year the festival will be held over two days at the Civic Theatre in Tallaght presenting 2 different programmes on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd of July at 8pm.
The IYDF is one of the most exciting youth dance events in Ireland. The Festival has been running for 21 years offering a professional platform for young dancers and choreographers, both nationally and internationally.
DYDC is calling for submissions from Irish based youth dance companies, Irish Dancers studying abroad, young artists and choreographers.
We are looking for high quality, fresh, edgy, creative, original and current pieces in a variety of dance styles.
The maximum length of the choreography must not exceed 10 minutes for a group piece and 4 minutes for solo work.
