Dancer and filmmaker Matt Szczerek will teach you new ways of presenting dance online and share his approach to creating choreography. Learn elements of juggling, hip hop dance and illusion. Experience cutting edge immersive technology and explore how dance is embracing the Metaverse. Your TikTok films will be edited together to make one EPIC film that will be screened as part of Culture Night 2022. Join us at The Civic Studio for loads of fun and an energetic and creative workshop.

Myth Makers Animation
Drop in to see this short animation that was made as part of the Myth Makers programme with Ready, Steady SHOW!
In January, Candlelit Tales brought the Myth Makers project to Tallaght Community National School. Working with Miss Hickey’s class and illustrator Beibhinn McCarthy the group created the awesome story of mythical The Yolk Dragon!
Come and see this short film which will be screened in the gallery on the hour, every hour from 2pm – 4pm.

Playing with Wolves Theatre Workshops
Join Giant Wolf Youth Theatre for a day of play, creativity and exploration into the world of youth theatre. We will hold workshops for young people ages 12–18 who wish to test the waters of a drama group, have a lot of fun, and meet other young people with similar interests. These workshops are low-pressure with a focus on playing, imagination, being yourself and being free to create a world of your desire within a supportive artistic environment. You do not need to bring anything other than your enthusiasm and willingness to take part. Please wear comfortable, moveable clothing that you can relax in.
These workshops are free. Booking is recommended but drop-ins on the day are more than welcome if your friend decides last minute they would like to come! You can pre-book your place by emailing us howl@giantwolftheatre.ie
