Elaine Gallagher presents a captivating night of musical theatre featuring an exciting mix of songs from beloved shows such as Into the Woods, Cabaret, Mamma Mia, Come From Away, Sister Act, and more. It will be a night of timeless classics and contemporary hits, offering a range of emotions. With well-known songs and beautiful storytelling that bring the magic of the Musicals to life.
Elaine trained with Bull Alley Theatre Training Company from 2002 –2006 graduating with an ATCL from Trinity Guildhall, London. Credits include playing ‘Mother Courage’ in Mother Courage at Smock Alley Theatre, Dublin and ‘Bride’ in Blood Wedding. Elaine has also starred in West Side Story and Chess, at the Draiocht and the Dublin premiere of Ragtime at The O’ Reilly Theatre.
Elaine recently starred as lead vocalist in Rob Murphy Let Loose at Dublin’s Vicar St. This summer, Elaine will act in a new play, Slice by Astrid Courtney, at Smock Alley. As a professional musical director, she has directed the Civic Theatre pantomime production since 2018 and the inaugural Halloween family show last season. She works extensively as a musical director , vocal coach and drama teacher across Dublin. Elaine is delighted to be taking part in Musical Mondays with the Civic Theatre.
