Need to brush up on those audition skills? Unsure on how to prepare yourself for a new role?

Mother Tongues is proud to present an Auditioning Skills Workshop hosted by Nigerian/Irish writer, director, and vocalist Esosa Ighodaro. Here you will get to work on a scene, in a safe and supportive environment, and receive practical advice to improve your skills for stage and screen. Esosa’s work aims to highlight black talent and tell more varied stories of the black experiences in Ireland, with a focus on using humour to explore more serious themes. Her award-winning farce ‘Down with Jazz’ is currently being adapted for the screen, her play ‘Let Me In’ is in development with The Everyman Theatre (Cork) and recent director credits include both the Abbey and the Peacock Theatres.

Presented by: Mother Tongues in association with The Civic
