As one of the core values of our organisation, we continue to encourage and nurture children and young people’s active participation in the Arts. The Civic and Real Learning Ltd partnered on ‘Behind the Curtain- The Road to Leaving Cert’ to enhance and accelerate the personal & professional development of younger people who are about to embark on the senior cycle and who are likely to enter the workplace in the near future.

Behind The Curtain a fun, interactive Arts in Education workshop helped students to look ahead to their Leaving Cert journey with confidence. Facilitated by four professional Actors, two school groups of 5th Year Students gather for a 2.5 hr workshop to discuss, voice, share, play, write, devise, make, act, direct, present and show their findings on stage. Students enjoyed time out from school to actively engage by collaborating and making something of their own.
Applied learning at its best by recognising Arts as a tool for better communication and understanding of others.
