Lear, the aging King of ancient Britain, has decided to step down from his throne and divide his realm among his three daughters, Goneril, Regan and Cordelia.
Lear’s plan is to to give the largest piece of his kingdom to the daughter that professes to love him the most.
The responses he receives brings tragic consequences for all.
