Grease is one of the coolest musicals to ever grace the West End and Broadway stage. Danny and Sandy fall for each other during a carefree summer fling. But when the school year begins, Danny is torn between his feelings for good-girl Sandy and his image with the T-Birds and the Pink Ladies. Set in a fictional High School, the show deals with all sorts of teenage angst, from drive ins to burger bars and teenage pregnancy. The show is one of the most performed musicals in the world and was made famous by the 1978 movie starring Olivia Newton John and John Travolta. RATSS produces musical theatre productions for young people with very high standards in drama, singing, dancing and the understanding of script.
The Junior RATSS will be performing The Ugly Duckling – The Musical and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfts at The Civic in the new year.
