Writing workshops for adults with Irish National Opera and the Civic: Help us create the world’s first Virtual Reality Community Opera!
Following on from current workshop with the designer Shane Sutton, Irish National Opera and the Civic are delighted to launch another series of weekly workshops taking place in March with the writer Dave Lordan. These workshops are perfect for any adults looking for something new and creative to try out in their evenings. Participation is free of charge. Absolutely no experience is required at all, just an enthusiasm to try something new out.
WORKSHOPS
The workshops form part of a much larger project, called ‘Out of the Ordinary’, which will see the creation of the world’s first Virtual Reality Opera with people across Ireland. More information about the project can be found at https://www.irishnationalopera.ie/what-we-do/outreach/out-of-the-ordinary. There will be four workshop sessions which will take place via Zoom on the following dates at 6pm – 7:30pm:
11th March
18th March
25th March
1st April
TAKE PART
If you’d like to get involved please fill in the form here no later than 5th March.
These workshops are open to anyone over the age of 18, with a focus on people living in Tallaght and South Dublin. While anyone over 18 is welcome to apply, spaces on the course are limited, so we will prioritise applications from this area. We will be in touch to let you know if you’ve been successful in gaining a place on the project.
