A programme of three short plays by young playwrights
To be TENDER, to show care, WRITE, to mark, on a surface, typically paper, with a pen, pencil or similar implement. This series of readings shine a light on new stories, fresh stories, the mark of exciting new playwrights, all aged 16 – 24. Work by and for young people. Work for everyone. This is a chance to experience the world, life, through the eyes of our youngest artists. Theirs is a post Catholic, multi-cultural Ireland, their world is equal parts online aether and terra firma, their lives fully complex. There is love & desire, anxiety & fear, and a great ability to laugh despite the fact that the world is heating up to a point of explosion. This programme features work by Aidan Kelly, Blaithín Seville, and David Rawle.
