Due to the terrific success of last year’s Primary Schools Tour, we’re delighted that High Rock Productions present Scéalta Gasta (Fast Stories) a new Irish speaking Arts in Education programme for children from 4th – 6th Class (10-12 years) to enjoy shaping Irish Mythological stories and engaging with elements of theatre making and performance.
Scéalta Gasta School’s Tour runs as follows: 6th, 7th & 8th October 2025
Sean & Niall McDonagh will facilitate drama-led workshops IN YOUR SCHOOL with games & play as Gaeilge with two classes of max. 25/30 children in 3 local primary/national schools from the area of South Dublin. These 75 mins workshops/rehearsals with the participating children will refine 2/3 stories and present elements of these stories to their peers.
The TOTAL workshop cost is €6 per child and includes a Teacher’s pack provided to the school as a resource ‘go hiontach’ with classroom activities, drama games, stories outlined with theatre making toolkit ideas AND includes a return visit to perform on the main stage of The Civic.
Please note by participating in these workshops the school should be available for a possible return to the theatre for a mini-performance for their classes on Wednesday 15th October.
