The navigators on the night will be the Rising Tide team Leon Dunne, Sheila Ryder, Dave Hynes

Rising Tide is  focused on showcasing the phenomenal level of talent in both poetry and music within the country of Ireland. Its mission statement is to provide a platform in which artists can express themselves and to present their work to a wider audience. Since its inception, Rising Tide has co-ordinated a string of sold out shows and has worked closely in partnership with the Dublin UNESCO office. Most recently, the organisation has curated events in both the One Dublin One Book Festival, which included a sold out show in the Civic Theatre Main Space, and the International Literature Festival Dublin. We are Leon Dunne , Sheila Ryder, Dave Hynes.

Aoife Dunne is an Irish comedian, poet, storyteller, and content creator who blends humour and
honesty to share her stories on grief and resilience. Her one-woman show Good Grief has sold out at
theatres and festivals across Ireland and the UK, while her sharp, relatable reels have built a loyal
online following of over 170k.

Abby Oliveira is a spoken-word poet, writer, performer, and arts facilitator based in the North of
Ireland.

Her work is often cross-discipline and collaborative, comprising poetry, storytelling, music, prose,
playwriting, and/or physical performance.

Colm Keegan is a writer and poet from Dublin. His collections Don’t Go There and Randomer (Salmon Poetry) have received critical acclaim. In 2023, he created Ireland Is, a spoken word roadshow with Poetry Ireland and Sofft Productions, which toured nationwide.

Dubliner Jan Brierton is a mam, a fashion stylist, and a poet. Her first collection What Day Is It? Who Gives a F*ck was published in 2021 after Jan’s first ever poem went viral during lockdown.

Everybody Is a Poem: Midlife in Rhymes Jan’s second collection was published by New Island in 2024. In her pocket size books Jan riffs on menopause, midlife, the mental load, friendships, relationships, loss, and self-acceptance.

Plain-speaking and completely relatable, all of Jan’s verses are served with her signature combination of humour, wit, and poignancy.

Anna D  is a spoken word poet and former All-Ireland Poetry Slam champion from Dublin. Her poetry explores the interplay between emotions and patterns of behaviour, family and collective trauma and the impact of oppressive systems on how we relate to each other and the world today.

Annie & the witness is a Dublin-based post-punk band that made their debut in 2024 with My Love Is A Well—a track that set the tone for their genre-blurring sound. Drawing from art rock, spoken word, and gothic aesthetics, α∧ω channels music into a vessel for intimate rage and spectral beauty.
