The Big Bad Wolf: Johnny Ward
We are delighted to welcome star of stage and screen Johnny Ward in the role of The Big Bad Wolf. Johnny has starred in Panto.ie’s staging of ‘Beauty and The Beast’’ which ran in The National Stadium, “WESTSIDE STORY” which ran in The Bord Gais Energy Theatre, Paul Howard’s Smash hit comedy “COPPERFACE JACKS THE MUSICAL” produced by Verdant Productions which enjoyed a hugely successful nationwide tour. Johnny also toured Ireland and the UK playing the part of ‘Ray Dooley’ in Martin McDonagh’s Young Vic production of “THE BEAUTY QUEEN OF LEENANE”, and he’s a past finalist of RTE’s “DANCING WITH THE STARS”.
His screen credits also include ‘Liam’ in the Dutch crime action series “SUGA – RIDE OR DIE” for Amazon Prime directed by Diederik van Rooijen, ‘Pauley’ in the RTE Television hit series “LOVE/HATE” directed by David Caffrey, ‘Sully’ alongside Irish actor Barry Keoghan in the feature film “MAMMAL” directed by Rebecca Daly, ‘Eanna’ in the award winning film “DOLL HOUSE” directed by Kirsten Sheridan, and ’Stephen’ in the feature film “THIS MUST BE THE PLACE” directed by Paolo Sorrentino in which he starred alongside Oscar Winners Sean Penn and Frances McDormand.
