Dame Dottie: Robert Downes
Robert is a Dublin based actor, writer, creative producer, director and drama facilitator. He is a graduate of TU Dublin’s BA Drama Performance course and NUI Galway’s MA in Drama Studies. He is also artistic director of SQUAD Productions Dublin- a theatre company that creates original and socially engaged theatre experiences for Irish audiences. Robert works for Smock Alley Theatre as a Creative Producer and Cultural Engagement liaison with a focus on community arts and new writing for the professional stage. He has always loved panto and is only deliria to be back at the Civic for ‘Tickles, Beauty and the Beast!’.
