Gaston: Adam O’Shea
Adam Michael O’Shea is an Irish actor from Waterford with a strong background in musical theatre. He graduated from London Studio Centre, where he received the Sheila O’Neill Award for most outstanding all-around student. Past recipients of this award include actor Luke Evans and Elizabeth Hurley.
Adam’s musical theatre credits include playing Mutt in the multi-award-winning ‘Kinky Boots’, where he worked with renowned Broadway director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell. Other roles include Max in ‘Cabaret’ and Mike in ‘Oklahoma!’
For the past three years, Adam has been a member of The Celtic Harps, touring globally. He was also a contestant on ‘The Voice UK 2024’, where The Celtic Harps were recognized as the Best New International Group at the Celtic Music Awards. Adam has been focusing on his music career , including his debut charity Christmas single ‘Christmas in Galwa’, which received national and global recognition including a HotPress magazine award as an upcoming artist to watch, Adam is delighted to be joining the cast of ‘Tickles, Beauty and the Beast’ as Gaston at The Civic theatre and can’t wait to hear all your boos!
