Twenty two 5th Class children at Scoil Maelruain Senior National School participated in a terrific puppetry making workshop facilitated by Freshly Ground Theatre Company Artists Vlad Gurdis & Liam Wilson Smyth on Friday 22nd May

The young people explored a new approach to storytelling with imagination, team work, and discovery at the core of the workshop.

As part of The Civic Cruinniú na nÓg Festival in South Dublin, Freshly Ground Theatre Company formed a group of 15 young people, ages 9-15 years from local schools in South Dublin County to meet after school at Tallaght Community Arts, The Making Space and participated in workshops centred around the theme “Leaps & Bounds”. They will be presenting an exciting showcase of new work created by this ensemble. And we look forward to attending on Saturday 7th June 6.30pm in the Studio to celebrate their creativity with friends, family and community.
