Art Campion – Paddy Bán Enright
Art Campion is currently developing his own comedy series. He is in new Irish Comedy series ‘Faithless’ (Acorn TV). He is perhaps most well known for playing Father Peter; in all 3 series of ‘Derry Girls’ (CH4).Other screen credits include, crime drama ‘Blue Lights’ (BBC), ‘Domina’ (Sky Atlantic), ‘Peaky Blinders’ (BBC) and ‘RedWater’ (BBC). Film credits include: ‘Dating Amber, ‘Sing Street’ and ‘Brooklyn’. Theatre credits include ‘Lonesome West’ (Gaiety Theatre), Katurian in ‘The Pillowman’ (Decadent, Irish tour) and ‘The Lietenant of Inishmaan’ (Theatre Royal Edinburgh).
Mary Kate Danagher – Margaret McAuliffe
Margaret Mc Auliffe is an actor and writer from Dublin. As an actor she has worked with companies such as Rough Magic, The Gate Theatre, Fishamble, Collapsing Horse, The Collective, and The Abbey Theatre. She recently played the role of ‘Orla’ in the Irish Tour of Erica Murray’s The Loved Ones (dir. Ronan Phelan) for Rough Magic & The Gate Theatre. Margaret recently wrapped on Rebekah Fortune’s feature film, Learning to BreatheUnder Water.
Theatre credits include The Haunting at Gusty Nook (Morb/Axis Ballymun); Anna Karenina (Abbey Theatre); Much Ado about Nothing, Jezebel, Digging for Fire (Rough Magic); kitchensinkdrama (The Collective at Dublin Fringe 2022); Requiem for the Truth (Collapsing Horse at Bergen Fringe Festival Norway, 2018).
As a writer and a performer she has enjoyed international success and critical acclaim for her play The Humours of Bandon. A feature adaptation of the play is currently in development with Treasure Entertainment, with support from Screen Ireland.

Writing and directing Belfast Blitz – It’ll Never Happen Here (SSE Arena/W5), directed Cinderella, Snow White (Dundee), Defending the Caveman, It’s Wine O’clock (Irish tours). One woman shows Mrs Jones’s Diary, Nobody Puts Bernie in the Corner and Absolutely Flabulous (Irish tours) for Sheridan Productions. For McKeever Productions, Truth, Love or Promise (Irish tour).
Red Will Danagher – Peter Gowen
Peter Gowen is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and an ex member of Dublin University Players. He first stepped onto the stage at the Atlanta Theatre Dublin in a production of loot by Joe Orton in 1979. Since then his career has taken him to Australia, France, Germany, Belgium, USA and United Kingdom. He has worked at the Abbey, Druid, Decadent Theatre, The Lyric Belfast, and the Gate Theatre in Ireland.
Appearances on screen and TV include Coronation St. Minder, Paradise Club and Love/Hate. The Butcher Boy. And A Love Divided. Most recently he has appeared in a revival of making history at the Everyman in court in Cork, and in a revival of dancing at Lunasa at the Olympia Theatre Dublin. Peter is also a writer and has recently appeared in a production of his new play Declan’s Got Talent In Ireland and as part of the First Fortnight festival 2025 at Smock Alley. Peter has worked with Mikel twice before: On Trad for GIAF, Edinburgh Festival, Perth Festival, DTF, Adelaide Festival and The Bush London. and Arrah Na Pogue at the Abbey.
Widow Quinn – Donna Dent
Donna’s previous appearances at the Abbey and Peacock theatres include: Dolly West’s Kitchen (Abbey/Bristol Old Vic), The Passion of Jerome (Peacock), A Woman of No Importance (Abbey), The Cherry Orchard (Abbey) and Bookworms (Abbey) by Bernard Farrell. For the Gate Theatre her appearances include Miss Havesham in Great Expectations and Sally Brass in The Old Curiosity Shop, All My Sons, Arcadia by Tom Stoppard, Veronique in God Of Carnage at the Gate and in Cat on A Hot Tin Roof. Michael (Very Small Man) – Gus McDonagh
Gus studied drama at DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama and graduated in 2003. Recent Theatre credits include Da in Trad ( Livin Dredd ), Coleman in the Lonesome West (The Everyman), and Frank in Dublin by Lamplight (Corn Exchange) at the Abbey and Galway International Arts Festival. Other theatre credits include Dubliners ( Gaiety Theatre, Dublin Theatre Festival ),The Definitive View (Brown Bread Mixtape), Hamlet (Second Age), Twelfth Night and Richard III (Fast and Loose), True Enough (Making Strange), Should’ve gone to Lourdes, Lennon-v-McCarthy (Nighthawks), Serious Money (Rough Magic AIB SEEDS Showcase), Alone it Stands (Lane Productions), Song from the Sea, Silly Bits of Sky, Martha, Little Rudolf and The Bus (Barnstorm), and Maisy Daly’s Rainbow (Tall Tales). Marian (Very Small Woman) – Niamh McGrath
Niamh McGrath is proudly The Artist in Residence at the Hawk’s Well Theatre for 2025. Her acclaimed one-woman show, GomBean—which she wrote and performed—was directed by Seamus O’Rourke and produced by the Hawk’s Well Theatre. The production premiered there before embarking on a national tour. Niamh has worked with a wide range of notable theatre companies and productions. Most recently, she appeared in Peter Sheridan’s Philo at The Gaiety Theatre. Her work with NOMAD include Tarry Flynn (in partnership with Livin Dred, directed by Aaron Monaghan) and The Far-Off Hills (with Loco & Reckless Productions, directed by Mikel Murfi). Additional credits include co-writer and performer Looking Deadly (Show In A Bag/Dublin Fringe Festival), as well as performances in Eclipsed (Mill Theatre) and Ireland: A Survivor’s Guide (High Rock Productions).
An original cast member of John Breen’s Alone It Stands, Niamh performed in over 500 shows during a three-year tour that included the West End, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Tasmania, and several national tours. Her other stage work includes collaborations with Big Telly Theatre Company (Department Story and One Sandwich Short of a Genius), 40 Songs of Green (Barabbas & The National Concert Hall), Blowfish (Barabbas at The Ark), Two (Viking Theatre), and Dummy (MORB/Dublin Fringe Festival/Peacock Theatre). She also appeared in Far Away from Me at The Ark.
Niamh’s broadcast credits include Obituary Season 2 (RTÉ & Hulu), Seamus Goes Wild (streaming now on RTÉjr) and Living With a Fairy (GMarsh TV & RTÉjr), the docudrama Waking the Titanic (TG4 and GMTV, now available on Netflix), Hold This by Amy Conroy (RTÉ Radio 1), Sinner’s (BBC 1), Prank It Up (RTÉ2), and Primary School Musical (GMarsh & RTÉ2 – IFTA nominated).
Priest – Malcolm Adams
Malcolm has just finished working with Werner Herzog on his new film, Bucking Fastards. On stage, he worked with John Breen on the original Alone It Stands for over 250 performances, concluding at The Duchess Theatre, in the West End, London. He has also appeared in the West End at The Duke of York with Stones In His Pockets. Other theatre highlights include: The Resistable Rise of Arturi Ui, Only An Apple, 16 Possible Glimpses and Shadow of a Gunman, at The Abbey Theatre; The Crucible at The Lyric (Belfast); A Streetcar Named Desire at The Gate Theatre; The Kings of The Kilburn High Road and Belfry with Livin’ Dred; The Taming of the Shrew with Rough Magic; Slattery’s Sago Saga with The Performance Corporation; King Ubu for Galway Arts Festival; The Gallant John Joe at The Mill Theatre; The Jesus Trilogy for Hatch/Once Off Productions.
