Gearrscéalta, a new Irish speaking, storytelling and theatre making programme delivered by High Rock Productions, as part of The Civic Education programme.
Sean & Niall McDonagh of High Rock Productions engaged with over 100 5th Year Students, 55 6th Year Students studying Gaeilge Leaving Certificate Drama stories – Gearrscéalta from five secondary schools in the South Dublin County area from April to October 2025.
It comprised of a series of workshops facilitated in the classroom, bringing to life the short stories of Dís, Caca Milis, Oisín í dTír, agus  Hurlamaboc.
And an additional 55 TY students workshopped the story of Tír na nÓg, making scenes together, speaking Irish and performing on stage at The Civic on 15th October.
The participating schools were:  St Mac Dara’s Community College, Coláiste Chillian, Coláiste de Híde, St Marks Community School & Tallaght Community School

Gearrscéallta, clár oibre nua scéalaíocht agus amharclannaíocht trí Ghaeilge léirithe ag High Rock Productions mar chuid de chlár oibre oideachais an Civic Theatre.
Ó Aibreáin go dtí Deireadh Fomhair 2025, chuaigh Niall agus Sean McDonagh i ngleic le níos mó ná 150 daltaí ó 5 scoil ó dheisceart BÁC, ag déanamh ceardlanna bunaithe ar na gearrscéalta ón Ardteist i mbliana. Rinneadh ceardlanna drámaíochta idirghníomhach sna scoileanna chun na daltaí a spreagadh, ag féachaint ar na gearrscéalta Dís, Cáca Milis, Oisín i dTír na  nÓg agus Hurlamaboc.
Tháinig 55 daltaí ón idirbhliain chuig an Civic ar an 15 Deireadh Fomhair chun ceardlann drámaíochta a dhéanamh ar Oisín i dTír na nÓg. Ag labhairt i nGaeilge, ag aisteoireacht, ag stiúradh, ag cruthú radharcanna agus faoi dheireadh, ag cuir an scéal ar stáitse le feisteas, propaí agus ceoil.
