    Artistic Director

    I am thrilled and excited to be the new Artistic Director of The Civic Theatre. The Civic is now a top class cultural and creative centre for audiences and artists of all ages and backgrounds.

    I look forward to working with the board, the staff and volunteers in creating a new vision in the next innovative phase of The Civics development.

    General Manager

    I’ve worked at The Civic for the past 23 years as Box Office & Front of House Manager.
    As of October 2022 I have transitioned to become the venue's new General Manager.

    I love the meet & greet aspect of the role, chatting to patrons and production companies on the phone and have met some lovely people over the years. No two days are the same.

    I’ve worked in the Box Office in the Civic Theatre since 2004; I love my job! Every day is different! Meeting new cast and crew every week & the wide variety of customers coming through the doors keeps me interested in my work.

    Audience Development, Engagement & Marketing Manager

    I’m a Tallaght native & very proud to work in my community where my job is to attract audiences to our wide and varied programme. There's always a seat to sell is my motto- but The Civic really is much more than that. A true place of possibility and meaningful live arts experiences for all. I hold an MBS in Marketing from UCD Smurfit Graduate School & previously worked for many years in the food marketing business!

    Box Office / Front of House

    I work on box office and front of house at the Civic. I’m a producer of beautiful children, and also enjoy a spot of baking & cake decorating. When not in the civic working, I’m here socialising! Love the place!

  • Veronica Coburn

    Programme Director of TENDERFOOT

    Veronica Coburn is Programme Director of TENDERFOOT, The Civic Theatre’s apprentice theatre programme for transition year students in South County Dublin. Tenderfoot seeks to develop young theatrical voices in South Dublin County.

  • Nicola Corrigan

    Financial Controller

    I’m delighted to join The Civic Theatre team as part‑time Financial Controller, bringing a background in accountancy and taxation alongside a qualification in business analysis. I’m particularly strong on attention to detail and financial governance—skills I’m excited to bring to such a lively, open and friendly place to work.
    I believe theatres are vital, they are spaces where the community gathers, stories are shared and creativity thrives. The Civic Theatre is exactly that: community‑centred.

    I joined The Civic in February 2025 and feel lucky to kick off my career in such a vibrant, welcoming venue. No two days are the same - From crafting posts to highlighting the amazing work on stage, there's always something exciting happening.
    I'm a DCU Multimedia graduate with a love for storytelling, creativity, and all things arts and culture!

    Education and Engagement Executive

    I started at The Civic Theatre in January 2024 and love it! Previously I worked in Business and Financial Services. I changed career direction in 2013 as a professional Drama Artist, Theatre-Maker, Director & Producer. Led Arts programmes for Dublin City & South Dublin County Councils and Creative Ireland. Community & Education Officer at Abbey Theatre. TAP & BLAST Artist in primary and secondary schools for Dublin West & Drumcondra Education Centres. Working at The Civic is my dream job!
