Join us for a nostalgic journey as we commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Civic Theatre! Step back in time and relive the magic of our very first summer camp, CAMP RYDELL.
Grease is the word next Summer at the Civic Theatre.
A three week* musical theatre summer camp for boys & girls aged 6 – 20 years.
Get the chance to perform in ‘Rydell High The Musical’ on the stage of The Civic, Tallaght. This camp is ideal for students with an interest in performance and musical theatre. Take part in classes in theatre, dancing, music, arts and crafts during morning classes and then rehearse for the staged production of ‘Rydell High The Musical’ in the afternoon. The three week camp culminates in a fully produced musical with lights, sound, set and costume.
*Please note, students must have attended at least two weeks of the camp in order to have a part in the final production.
Suitable for ages 6 – 20 years
Groups will be broken into 3 age groups:
6- 8 years
9- 12 years
13+
Students can expect to enjoy: Theatre: Improvisation, Role Play, Theatre Games, Speech & Drama. Dancing: Funky Hip Hop, Contemporary, Tap and Jazz. Music: A repertoire of songs from musical theatre to pop and through this enjoyment and self-expression discover many skills they never thought they had. Arts & Crafts: Learn how to make props & more for the final production!

Final Show Saturday 10th Aug 2pm & 5pm
