INTRODUCING…. MUSICAL MONDAYS
Join actor/singer/vocal coach Chris Currid for a night of musical theatre, rock and power ballads. Currid will be accompanied by Conor McCarthy.
Chris trained with Bull Alley Theatre and with Voice College London(H.Dip in Contemporary Singing Teaching), where he graduated with distinction.
Theatre Credits: Several seasons in Rathwood with Verdant Productions, Soul Train (Viking Theatre), Prince in Cinderella (Helix), Pablo in Sister Act (National Concert Hall), Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar (Mermaid Theatre), Michael Collins and Harry Boland on separate occasions in Michael Collins – A Musical Drama, Lead vocalist in the World of Musicals (Germany), Rock Tenors (Ireland and Holland), lead vocalist in Raglan Road, Disney Orlando, ensemble in the Hired Man (Cadogan Hall, London.) TV Credits: elev8 (RTE2), the Late Late Show, Superstar ITV, the Voice of Ireland.
Chris works as a vocal coach and drama/singing teacher all over Ireland, including his own school, Currid School of Performing Arts in Courtown, Wexford. Between 2013 and 2020, Chris was nominated for 8 AIMS Awards, 7 for Best Singer and 1 for Supporting Actor, winning the singer award in 2018.
He is in demand as a vocal coach and performer nationwide. He is very much looking forward to performing in the Civic this May.
