‘Spectacular performance…. a thoroughly immersive experience’ – Meath Chronicle Sightless Cinema South Dublin returns to Civic with another lively mix of surround-sound audio shorts. They present ‘Split Time’, written by the group with Hugh Hick, where a blind runner’s fall fractures more than his ankle, forcing him and his guide to confront some hard truths. You’ll also hear: ‘Overboard’, a comedy about the adventures of a blind girl invited last-minute on a Mediterranean cruise, and ‘Cuckoo’s Lane’, a housing-crisis comedy about a daughter and boyfriend moving home; and live plays by the blind performers from the Sightless Cinema Network- a firm audience favourite. Optional blindfolds are provided to bring you into the immersive world of Sightless Cinema.
