Three afternoons where you will be free to speak your mother tongue with our creative workshops.
June 13th: Discover music through creative movement, singing, sound exploration and body percussion with Kasia Eliasz! (English + Polish + Bring your own language!)
June 14th: Join Carmel Stephens as she shares tales of Old Ireland in a cosy and friendly space. A story will unfold, games will be played, and something delightful will be crafted! (English + Irish + Bring your own language!)
June 15th: Travel with Kata Varnyu who will transport you to far-off lands with her stories and hands-on art-making. (English + Hungarian + Bring your own language!)
While the workshops will be guided in English, we encourage families to embrace their home languages. This fosters meaningful connections between parents and children, creating a truly inclusive environment.
Please remember that children must be under the supervision of an accompanying adult throughout the workshops.
*Activities have been specifically designed for children 3 to 6. If you have an older child (even beyond this age range) who wishes to participate, they are more than welcome. For children younger than 2.5 years, the activities might be too complex, but they are absolutely welcome to accompany their older siblings.
This workshop series is part of the award-winning Language Explorers programme, which has shown to improve parents’ and children’s confidence in using their mother tongue and enhance children’s language and communication skills. Find out more.
