Lonely Merce is consoling herself after the recent death of her mother through her addiction to the Shopping Channel. It’s only when she meets widower Ted at a Bereavement Survivors Support group, run by the matchmaking Rosemary, that they both start to move beyond their timid lives and in the process embark on a quest to resolve the secret Merce has kept hidden all her life. On her journey through a world of odd-ball characters, Merce discovers a new sense of self but realises in the process there’s no such thing as an IDEAL WORLD.
