Have you ever wanted to share a story from the stage but been too afraid to take the plunge? Or perhaps you’d love to but are convinced you just don’t have a story to share? The Dublin Story Slam can help.

On July 16th, one of Dublin’s longest running storytelling nights are bringing their open mic competitive storytelling night to the Civic for one night only. Presented by the hilarious Stand-Up Comedian, Sharon Mannion, this interactive night is all about ordinary Dubliners sharing their personal true stories inspired by the theme, Summer in the City. Click here for tickets.

To help you get started, the founder of The Dublin Story Slam and Story Coach, Julien Clancy, will be facilitating a FREE storytelling workshop on Saturday 13th July, where you can hone your skills and expand on your story for the 16th July.

During this in person 90min session, we’ll explore what goes into a great story, where you can find yours and how to deliver a story onstage with confidence. We’ll also workshop any potential stories from participants and show you how to turn even the tiniest of story ideas into massive stories for the stage.

Workshop participants can also avail of reduced priced tickets for the night, so if you’ve ever wanted to dip your toe into the World of Storytelling, why not give it a go and sign up now!
