Corinna O’Brien : NoLaugh

From a very young age, Corinna has performed with numerous societies across Dublin from the Pioneer Club to Grange Woodbine Variety where she had the chance to co-write her first comedy. Corinna found her love for acting when Maureen Gilligan cast her as ‘Anita’ in Stephen Sondheim’s “West Side Story” and has since continued with SGPA performing in their variety shows. Currently teaching Drama for Dublin Performing Arts, Corinna has also choreographed for both SGPA and Inchicore Variety Group.
More recently, under the SGPA banner, she has played the Lion in “The Wizard of OZ”, Donkey in “Shrek” and Scuttle in “The Little Mermaid”
Corinna was a member of the Halleluia Choir and has performed on stages all across Ireland, more notably on the Nathan Carter Show on RTE, in the 3 Arena with Josh Groban, on Ireland Am and alongside Mark Feely of Westlife.
No Stranger to the Panto stage, Corinna grew her love of acting working with the Dublin Panto family and has played numerous comedic roles over the years, such as, Tiny the dwarf and The Magic Mirror in “Snow White”, Maisie the giants wife in “Jack and the Beanstalk”, Smee in “Peter Pan” Olaf and The Baron in “Completely Frozen”, Genie in “Aladdin” and most recently, Mother Gothel “Rapunzel”. Corinna has also starred for two recurring years with the Lark Panto, playing the parts of LePoo, Gaston’s silly side kick in “Beauty and the Beast” and “Whammy” one of the step sisters in Cinderella.
Corinna is delighted to be joining the team in the Civic Panto under Rob Murphy Productions this year to play “No Laugh” in Freezin. She wishes everyone involved in Huge break a leg… Oh yes she does.
