INSPIRE 2018
The Civic Theatre is committed to providing access to the high quality work that it presents. In 2019, 682 children and young people attended shows at the Civic Theatre funded by patron donations under the theatres’ INSPIRE scheme.
The Civic Theatre is delighted to be working in partnership with Tallaght Community School. The Civic Theatre is working with teachers in Tallaght Community School to introduce the world of theatre to the students. The focus of the partnership are sponsored trips to The Civic Theatre to see age appropriate work. Students participating in the programme will see three/four plays in the course of an academic year. Each theatre trip is supported by a drama workshop and a Q & A session with members of the performance company.
The inspire fund covers the cost of tickets and transport to the Theatre and is open to all schools and creches in the South Dublin region. The Civic is a registered Charity (RCN: 20040765).
