Whether you love Shakespeare already and just want to explore some more or if you’re a raw beginner who even fears the infamous’ Bard’ and his complex word plays, this is the workshop for you. Designed to both demystify and illuminate… and be a lot of fun, so why not first explore some of the greatest poetic and dramatic lines ever created ahead of attending the RSC’s Venus & Adonis.
The workshop is open to anyone with an interest in Shakespeare and is facilitated by Civic Artistic Director, Michael Barker-Caven. Michael is an internationally acclaimed theatre, musical and opera director who has worked extensively in London’s West End and directed dozens of award-winning shows in Ireland over the past 20 years. Michael has a lifelong love of Shakespeare with acclaimed productions of Richard III, Macbeth and Venus & Adonis to his name to name but a few.
The workshops are limited to 20 participants.
