Sweet Dreams, Mr Heroin

Sweet Dreams, Mr. Heroin returns to the Loose End at The Civic before travelling to Portland Maine to perform this production for one of the biggest recovery organisations in America. A powerful moving play which tells of a father’s love and heartbreak for his addicted son Joey and a woman’s fight with addiction and prostitution as she desperately tries to be there for her daughter on the day of her First Holy Communion. More information about the company can be found here: http://www.sweetdreamsmrheroin.com/

‘This is a play that takes an unflinching look at heroin abuse-subtlety is perhaps a secondary concern. Sweet Dreams, Mr. Heroin is a gruelling production which succeeds because it lets audiences experience the damages of heroin anew.’ Irish Theatre Magazine
