Ballet Ireland’s popular summer school returns to the Civic Theatre this July.
The week-long programme involves daily ballet class and rehearsals and the opportunity to experience what makes a ballet; choreography, music, mime, drama and making props and costumes. It is a truly unforgettable experience for all involved.
Working alongside Ballet Ireland’s professional dancers, students will be completely involved in creating their own ballet performance which is performed on stage at the end of the week for family and friends to come and enjoy.
The programme is suitable for boys and girls aged 6+ with/without prior dance training.
Times: Mon – Fri, 11am-1pm for the Seniors (ages 12+); 2-4pm for the Juniors (ages 6-11).
Please note: Seniors are required all day on Thursday and Friday. Juniors attend both morning and afternoon sessions on Friday ahead of the performance at 4pm.
