Meet Matt, a young child feeling uninspired, bored, and a bit lost in life. Everything changes when his grandmother gifts him a special cap called Hat. This simple gift sets in motion an extraordinary adventure, as Matt and Hat embark on a journey that exceeds their wildest dreams.

In the final research and development phase, “Matt and Hat” seamlessly merges virtual reality and dance to offer an unparalleled experience. By leveraging cutting-edge VR filmmaking technology viewed through Oculus 2 headsets, audiences are transported to a world where reality and imagination intertwine.Under the artistic direction of Matt Szczerek, “Matt and Hat” combines krump dance choreography with motion-capture technology, creating a captivating dance experience. The result is a unique aesthetic that merges fluid movements with digital innovation, captivating viewers and blurring the boundaries between the physical and digital realms.
