The Civic’s arts programming serves over 60,000 children, young people, adults and families each year. Last year alone we presented over 486 events from local arts, theatre, music, dance, opera, workshops and performing arts camps. Following the spread of COVID-19 worldwide, we have had to cancel all events and the impact of social distancing has reduced our theatre seating from 309 to 42. We are hoping to raise money to lessen the tremendous impact that COVID-19 has had on the theatre and to roll out some new programmes for our audiences.
On Saturday 18 July we will Virtually throw open our doors for our Online Gala Fundraiser.
