The Civic are accepting applications for TenderWRITE, a two-year development programme for young adults, aged 16 to 24, who are interested in writing for or making theatre. Applications are welcome from Tenderfoot graduates and young people with a creative writing practice. TenderWRITE is facilitated by Veronica Coburn, Tenderfoot’s Programme Director, and Gavin Kostick, Fishamble’s Literary Manager.
There are 12 places available on the TenderWRITE programme.
All participants will complete a full-length play or piece of theatre over the course of the programme through a first, second & final drafting process. Participants will write in their own time. There are 8 TenderWRITE workshops, First Tuesdays, each year, scheduled on the first Tuesday of designated months. Two additional Saturday sessions will be scheduled each year to facilitate Q & A sessions or workshops with guest playwrights and/or theatre trips.
