Bríd Dukes retired last week after 17 years at The Civic. A seasoned, well-respected member of Ireland’s artistic community, producer, writer and mentor to many local, regional and national theatre companies, Bríd’s farewell shindig was held in Smock Alley Banquet Hall last Friday.
Speeches were given by her husband Gerry Dukes, Board member Billy Coman, Technical Manager Mick Doyle and Niamh Ní Chonchubhair of Axis Ballymun.
