The emergency relief fund…is such an amazing initiative in a time when both the present and the future of performing arts are shrouded in uncertainty. Having institutions…showing appreciation for freelance artists has such a positive impact on our feelings of value within society.

On a personal note, it has allowed me to refuel my own creative practice through giving me time to experiment with creative writing. As a dance artist, I have found it challenging to absorb myself within dance due to concerns for the future of the industry, so turning to writing has allowed me to continue to hone my creativity without the emotional load.
