The box office is open from 10 am to
6 pm, Monday to Saturday. Only ticket sales for the evening performances
are processed in the hour before the show. Patrons are advised that
tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged once purchased.

Concessions Concessions are available to students, equity members, under 18's, the unemployed and senior citizens. A discount of 10% is available for groups of ten or more to certain productions. (Please check with the Box Office at time of booking.) Special rates for schools are available from the box office. All children, including infants, must have a ticket for a seat to comply with fire regulations.

The Civic Theatre
The Civic Theatre, opened in March 1999, a project of South Dublin
County Council and also grant aided by the Department of Arts,
Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands. It is managed by an independent
limited company, under a tenancy and management agreement. The Theatre includes the following features: Main Auditorium 282 seats Multi-purpose 60 - 70 seat studio space Day-time Restaurant Theatre Bar Gallery The Interval Bar & Bistro A full bar service is available before the show, during the interval and after the show. Patrons should pre order their drinks before the performance. The Bistro opens daily from 10am - 7.30pm. Pre Theatre menu is available. Phone: 01 4626532 Disabled Access The Civic Theatre has full facilities for people with disabilities, including designated seating in the auditorium, lift and specially adapted w.c. Please advise the box office of your requirements when booking. The main auditorium has the facility for 2 wheelchair bays in row B. Theses seats will be 1-3 & 19-21 so as to facilitate companions. The Box Office staff will only sell these seats to non- disabled patrons when all other seats are sold, thereby giving disabled patrons the same possibilities of booking as other patrons We are also one of the few Theatres in Dublin that have a Loop for people with hearing disabilities, this helps to amplify the sound using a particular frequency that can be picked up by hearing aids.
Parking
There is ample parking in
the Theatre car park and Parking is free. The car park
does not open for patrons of the Civic Theatre until 4.30pm.
Latecomers
All shows start at 8 pm in
the main auditorium and at 8.15 in the Loose End. Latecomers cannot be
admitted until a suitable break in the performance or at the interval.

Location The Civic Theatre is less than 45 minutes from Dublin City Centre. There is ample parking in the theatre car park. Parking is free. The Theatre is located in the same grounds as South Dublin County Council, facing the square shopping centre. Driving Directions Take the N81 (Tallaght exit off the M50) drive as far as the Plaza complex. At this complex take a right hand turn, continue up to the first set of lights. At these lights take a left hand turn, continue straight through a roundabout and the Civic Theatre is located at the end of the road on the right hand side. Google Maps - Click here
